Four Kelley Blue Book Awards for Ford Vehicles

Every year, Kelley Blue Book runs its well-respected Best Buy awards to help prospective vehicle shoppers easily sort out the great vehicles from among the good ones. Winning one of these awards signifies that a vehicle is the cream of the crop, and it’s a major point of pride for the automaker behind the vehicle. Winning more than one is an honor, and this year, that’s exactly what Ford has done, taking home no less than four separate Kelley Blue Book Best Buy awards.

For this year’s Best Buy awards, Ford was recognized more times than any other automaker. The four vehicles that were awarded were the 2024 Ford Maverick with the Best Compact Truck award, the 2024 Ford F-150 with the Best Full-Size Truck award, the 2024 Ford F-150 Lightning with the Best Electric Truck award, and the 2024 Ford Expedition with the Best Full-Size SUV award.

Kelley Blue Book recognized each vehicle’s qualities individually. The F-150, celebrating its tenth year as the Kelley Blue Book Best Full-Size Truck Buy, “continues to exceed buyers’ expectations.” The Maverick “provides light-duty pickup goodness in an attractive package with multiple personalities,” and the Expedition “boasts … things you would not expect from a full-size SUV.” The breakthrough F-150 Lightning, according to the judges at Kelley Blue Book, “takes convenience to new heights by providing in-bed [Pro Power Onboard], allowing you to cook on the go with a powered-up crockpot en route to your in-laws.”

To come up with each year’s list of Best Buys, the teams at Kelley Blue Book analyze a large set of vehicle data that covers pricing, consumer reviews and ratings, five-year cost to own information, depreciation, insurance, maintenance, financing, fuel, fees and taxes for new cars, consumer reviews, ratings, and vehicle sales information.
